Forres Academy provides students with many good quality facilities in which to work from such as multiple gymnasiums to a highly equipped music corridor which provides students with the equipment and facilities to make music. The school has all the facilities you would expect a hall, a canteen (The Neetnac), multiple computer rooms and cooking areas for H.E students. Recently the school had a large extension added to the building in which new offices for staff were created along with new rooms for the P.S.E subject.
The school serves the villages of Alves, Rafford, Dallas, Dyke, Logie, Kinloss (including children of RAF personnel) and Findhorn (including the nearby Findhorn Community) as well as the three Forres primary schools.
The school is located next to Forres Swimming Pool and is also near to Applegrove Primary School and is a short walk from both the TESCO store for Forres and the high street.
