The Forgotten River is a river of northern Fiordland, New Zealand. A tributary of the Olivine River, it rises west of the Olivine Ice Plateau in the Five Finger Range and flows south-westward to join that river south of Four Brothers Pass.

The river was explored in 1864 by Alphonse Barrington, James Farrell and Antoine Simonin.
