History
Founded by David Girhammar, with the first flight on July 1, 2016, Fly Ernest is a low cost virtual airline. It aims to "improve the relationship between Italy and Albania," says Girhammar, which are the two nations between which the airline flies its routes. Girhammar also says that there will be "no hidden costs or complex rules."

Fly Ernest is marketing Mistral Air flights using 737-400 and ATR 72 aircraft. Fly Ernest will operate its own flights using A319-100 Aircraft starting from end of January 2017.
