FlipBelt is a line of fitness accessories made by Level Terrain, based outside of Denver, Colorado. The flagship item is the FlipBelt, a fitness belt that is designed to be an alternative to running armbands and running pouches. The company sells several styles of FlipBelt, as well as custom water bottles to fit inside the FlipBelt, motion-activated running lights and other fitness accessories.FlipBelts are manufactured in the US.

History
The FlipBelt was invented and designed by Mia Do. In 2012, Do, Rebecca, Minna and Jessica Shealy co-founded Level Terrain to sell the FlipBelt. Do has owned the trademark for the FlipBelt design and word mark since 2012.
In 2016 the company released two new versions of the FlipBelt - the FlipBelt Zipper edition and the FlipBelt Hydration Belt. FlipBelt Zipper adds a zipper-secured pocket to the FlipBelt Classic design. The FlipBelt Hydration Belt is a package that includes a FlipBelt Classic and three FlipBelt Water Bottles.
FlipBelt Design
The FlipBelt is a unisex tubular waist band that fits snuggly around the waist without riding up. The belt features four openings to slide in items such as keys, phones, snacks, IDs, credit cards, medical devices, etc. The Classic FlipBelt can be flipped with the pocket openings toward the body to keep items extra secure. The FlipBelt also includes an internal clip for keys and small items.
The FlipBelt Zipper edition includes a zipper pocket closure in addition to the four open-access pockets. The FlipBelt Zipper version directly addresses early concerns about the lack of a zipper-secured pocket.
All FlipBelt models are a minimum of three inches wide and can fit large phones such as the Samsung Galaxy 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and other large phones.
The FlipBelt is made of stretchy spandex and lycra and wicks away moisture. It is not water proof. The antibacterial fabric is machine washable.
FlipBelt Adoption
FlipBelt has received positive reviews and has been included in several gift guides, particularly as an affordable gift for runners, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and holidays. It can be used for outdoor activities or working out in the gym. It has also been adopted as an alternative to traditional travel money belts.
