Flip Grater (born 1981) is the stage name of singer-songwriter and author Clare Grater, born in Christchurch, New Zealand. She is known as an avid foodie and vegetarian spokesperson and writes books about touring the world and the recipes she collects on tour. In 2006 she started Maiden Records, an independent NZ record label, which has released Flip Grater's work as well as albums from Urbantramper and The Unfaithful Ways.

She currently resides in Paris, France where she is writing her next book and recording her fourth studio album.
