Flair Leisure Products

GP Flair PLC, formerly known as Flair Leisure Products is an Italian-owned distributor of children's toys based in Cheam, South London.

Background

Flair was founded in 1999 by former K'Nex executives, Peter Brown, Simon Hedge and Carl Moran. The annual turnover was £1.8m in 1999 and had increased to £30.7m by 2008/9. The key personnel of Flair were responsible for the launching of Tomy and K'NEX in the United Kingdom.

The company was acquired by the Italian toy company Giochi Preziosi in March 2008. It now employs around 60 staff at its headquarters in Cheam. The company considers itself to have a diverse customer base. Flair is one of the United Kingdom's top ten toy companies that has been continuing to grow over the last 12 years.

In 2013, Simon Hedge took over company management, having previously been head of sales.

Product range

The company holds the rights to several notable toys, including Sylvanian Families, Etch A Sketch, Plasticine, Gormiti, Sticklebricks and Slinky.

Awards

The company was awarded Action Figure of the Year for their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie figures.
