A white flag with an emblem with three crescent moons and three heraldic symbols on a blue and green background.

The so-called national flag and the coat of arms of Bosniaks in Sandžak were established in 1991. The symbols were accepted by Bosniaks all over the Sandžak. In 1991, Sandžak organized a referendum in which 99% of its people voted for independence from FR Yugoslavia. In that year the Muslim National Council of Sandžak changed the name to Bosniak National Council.
