First Guaranty Bank (commonly known as FGB and traded as First Guaranty Bancshares) is a community oriented savings bank. The bank was founded in Hammond, Louisiana in 1934, as Guaranty Bank & Trust Company. Since 2007, First Guaranty has been publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the name First Guaranty Bancshares Inc.

As of December 31, 2016 First Guaranty Bank operated 21 branches with total assets of $1.4 billion. Although most prominent in Tangipahoa Parish, First Guaranty serves communities throughout southeast, southwest, and north Louisiana.

First Guaranty Bank's focus is to serve small towns and communities in selected markets throughout Louisiana and surrounding areas. The bank operates commercial and private accounts, credit card services and provides other standard banking services like safe-deposit boxes and mobile banking.

The President and CEO of First Guaranty Bank is Alton B. Lewis, and the Chairman of the Board is Marshall T. Reynolds.
