FireViewer, also known as Firepad Picture Viewer or Image Viewer III, is a Palm photo software program.

History

FireViewer started as Image Viewer III was the first photo viewer for the PalmPilot. Art Dahm wrote it in 1997 as a personal project with two goals: first, to learn 68000 assembly language, and second, to store and view photos of his dog Harley on his new PalmPilot.

Image Viewer III remained a top-5 download on PalmGear (the largest Palm download site) from 1997 through 2003.

In December 1999, Image Viewer III was sold to Firepad]and renamed FireViewer.
