Formation and early years

The band formed in 2004 by Clint Boge and Dan Alder who met whilst living together in a share house in New Farm, Brisbane. Joal Pascoe joined in late 2004 on guitar and the trio performed their first show as Final Days of Autumn on February 12, 2006 at The Rev in Brisbane.

They were encouraged by their friends and Peers to persure their music in a more serious manner, and after gaining attention from booking agents and generating a fan base through the use of Myspace, the band recruited Anthony McCall (Drums) and Jono Bolt (Keys) from Local Hip Hop Heavyweights Resin Dogs to complete the Band.

The band recorded a handful of demos which were uploaded on their my space page and attracted over 10,000 plays of the track "Ghost", as well as live favourite "Momma Get Your Guns".

2007 Tour

Final Days of Autumn played their first show to a sold out crowd at The Troubadour night club in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane in October 2007. The show was bootlegged and uploaded on YouTube which gained the band attention on a national level, leading to the announcement of their first national headlining tour in the summer. The first show of the tour was in Brisbane at Bar 388, and streamed live via podcast. The band finished the tour in Adelaide in December after 15 shows.

Upon their return to brisbane, They headlined the first Massive sounds festival, and also gained a spot on the main stage for the first Sounds of Spring Festival, playing with the likes of Grinspoon, Spiderbait, Cog, Dukes of Windsor, The Spazzys, The Dirty Secrets and many more.

Debut Album

In October 2008 the band entered the studio to begin work on their debut album with Legendary Brisbane producer Skritch (Beasts of Bourbon, Mary Trembles) at Black box studios.

In May 2009 the band announced on their My Space page that they had broken up.
