The ice dancing competition of the 2014 Winter Olympics was held at the Iceberg Skating Palace in Sochi, Russia. The short dance was held on 16 February and the free dance on 17 February. The competition was won by Meryl Davis and Charlie White from the United States. This is the first time the US won gold in ice dancing.

Vote fixing allegations

On 8 February, French sports newspaper L'Équipe, quoting an anonymous Russian coach, alleged that Russia and the United States would swap votes, with the United States voting for Russian athletes in pairs figure skating and team events and Russia voting for the Americans in ice dancing. The allegations were categorically denied by U.S. Figure Skating.
