Fierté Montréal, also known in English as Montréal Pride, is an annual LGBT pride festival in Montréal, Québec. It is the largest LGBT event in Montréal. It is held on seven consecutive days (Monday to Sunday) usually in mid-August of each year.

Contents

Staged in Montréal's Gay Village area, it is open to all audiences, gay and heterosexual.

A major event of Fierté Montréal includes the annual défilé (Montréal Pride Parade) on the major René-Lévesque Boulevard in Montéal. Around 500,000 people took part in various Fierté Montréal events in 2015.

The event was established in 2007 after the city's prior Pride festival, Divers/Cité, repositioned itself as a general arts and music festival.
