According to recent survey the population of Feroza is more than 5 lakh.

Religion

The majority of people are Muslims. There are hardly a few people belonging to any other religion.

The main language of the region is Siraiki, but Punjabi is also commonly known language in Feroza.

Climate

As Feroza is located in South Punjab that is why the climate of Feroza is usually hot. The summer season remains from March to November. And winter comes for a very short time i.e. December to February.

Source of Earnings

The major source of earning of people is cultivation. 80% people earn through cultivation and remaining 20% people by adopting different other professions. Feroza is also a hub of Sugarcane industry. Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif personally took interest in construction of Hamza Sugar Mills. Hamza Sugar Mill is one of the biggest Sugar Mills in Pakistan. It is also a well known place in the town.

Culture

The culture of Feroza is simple. Men usually wear Shalwar Qameez while women also wear Shalwar Qameez with Dupata.

People uses public transport specially buses, rickshaws and vans. There is also a railway station in Feroza.
