History
Gutgutia had gained some experience in the flower business having helped out his florist uncle in Kolkatta during his early days. He opened his first shop in Delhi South extension. It took FNP 9 years before it finally broke even in 2003.

Though originally a flower retailer, the firm has also expanded into the E-commerce sector with various online ventures such as FNPcakes. It has expanded their business into the wedding and event planning industry with the name FNP Weddings & Events.It launched a new business called the Propshop store, which primarily deals in wedding gifts, on 3 September 2013.
