Ferial Masry has been a part of the 37th Assembly District now for 30 years. Personal Information

Masry, who was born in Mecca, became the first Saudi American to run for political office in U.S. history when she campaigned for California State Assembly in 2004. Her run was covered by The New York Times, Associated Press, and led to an interview with Peter Jennings.
