Fe Amorsolo was born as Amparo Casim Abuyen-Pilapil on 17 January 1927 in the barangay of Guadelupe Viejo in Makati, Philippines. She is a Filipina actress who made a debut via the popular hit movie Carmelita in 1938 under the production company, Parlatone Hispano Filipino, and is the grandmother to Danish bowling player Anne Lorraine Gales

    Amparo married in her early twenties, giving birth to two boys, Benjamin and Francisco Reyes. The couple unfortunately separated and years later Amparo remarried to one of Manila's top accountants, Carlos Pilapil. Together they had four children, Cesar Pilapil, Carlos Pilapil II, Maria Gracia Fe Pilapil and Carmina Pilapil.

    After giving up acting, Amparo moved to the province of Antipolo and there she lived a quiet life with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
