Farm to Market Road 3479 (FM 3479) is a short farm to market road in northern Fort Worth, Texas.

Route description

FM 3479 begins at FM 156 in northern Fort Worth. It travels east as a four-lane roadway and then north along Harmon Road East as a divided four-lane roadway. The route passes by several businesses and neighborhoods before ending at an interchange with the US 81 / US 287 freeway.

History

FM 3479 was designated in 1986, along its current route. Despite being a relatively rural route, TxDOT internally transferred the mileage of the highway to Urban Road 3479 (UR 3479) in 1995; as with other urban roads, signage still uses the traditional Farm Road marker.
