Life and career
Shafi was born in Lahore, Pakistan to Saba Hameed and Pervaiz Shafi Syed. He began his career as a television actor. He acted in the drama serial "Manjali" as ‘Ramis’ on Geo TV. He gained popularity in 2012 by his debut explicit single "Awaam" featuring singer Mooroo. Shafi said that he wrote about all the things our nation is being forced to go through every day. He is brother of the singer/actor Meesha Shafi and son of actress Saba Hameed
