Fangjin Yang

Fangjin Yang is a computer scientist and entrepreneur specializing in distributed systems and big data. He is a co-founder and CEO of Imply.

Yang received his MASc and BASc from the University of Waterloo, advised by Gordon Agnew. His graduate school was sponsored by Cisco Systems, and he joined Cisco after graduation. A few years after joining Cisco, Yang left to join Metamarkets, a San Francisco-based technology startup. At Metamarkets, he worked on creating and developing Druid, and building the community around the project.

In late 2015, he started Imply, a company that commercializes Druid. He is currently the CEO at Imply.
