"Falls on Me" is the official lead single by Fuel from their 2003 album Natural Selection. It is the second overall single from the album with "Won't Back Down" having been originally released on Daredevil: The Album a few months prior.

Written by guitarist Carl Bell, "Falls on Me" is about the difficulties of remaining in a monogamous relationship; according to Bell, "Everybody is hardwired to have some wanderlust in them... But that song comes from having a relationship and trying to honor it and not mess up something beautiful."

"Falls on Me" was released as a single and received moderate airplay on radio and MTV, reaching #52 on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 2004. It hit #9 and #11 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks and the Modern Rock Tracks charts, although it didn't make a big impact on rock radio only being moderately successful, it did became a crossover hit peaking #13 and #17 on the Mainstream Top 40 and Adult Top 40 charts, in spite of the crossover success, it managed to have more airplay on rock stations even more than the band's minor hits that charted higher on the rock charts. This is the band's 3rd and last major hit and it is also the band's 3rd most played and most successful song to date only behind Shimmer and Hemorrhage (In My Hands).

The song was released on CD single outside the USA and included the track "On the Road Again," a cover song recorded during the Natural Selection sessions.
