FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup qualification (UEFA)

The FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup qualification (UEFA) is a European beach soccer tournament to qualify for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

History

The tournament was introduced by FIFA as qualification event for the 2008 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. Before 2008, the top teams from the Euro Beach Soccer League qualified for the World Cup but the new format gives more countries an opportunity to qualify. They are similar to the beach soccer championships in other confederations. Times when only four teams qualify is when the host nation of the World Cup has been European that year (with except of 2017). Now that the World Cup takes place every two years, so will the qualifiers, starting with the qualifiers for the 2011 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

Tournaments

For all tournaments, the top four teams qualified for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, except for 2009, where the fifth-placed team also qualified.

World Cup performance

The following is a performance timeline of the UEFA teams who have appeared in the Beach Soccer World Cup since being sanctioned by FIFA in 2005.
