History

FC Ulaanbaatar was founded in 2011. Included on the team's roster are the striker Kim Myong-Won who participated in the World Cup 2010 and Sin Chol-Jin from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. In 2011, the club won its first Mongolia Premier League title.
