The FC Pedelec is a hydrogen bicycle, power-assisted by an electric motor that gets its electricity from a fuel cell. It is manufactured by Masterflex, and was unveiled at the Hanover Fair in Germany in 2004.

Specifications

It uses a proton-exchange membrane fuel cell to generate about 250 Watts and, on a full hydrid tank with 45 g of hydrogen, it may ride a distance of 120 kilometres.

Refueling

The tanks are exchangeable and can be refilled at a hydrogen station.

Market

Because of this the bikes are sold in packages of 10, the first commercial entry was in May 2006 in Herten
