Lgr extreme rock climbing pc game review
Extreme Rock Climbing is part of the Extreme Sports series by Creative Carnage and Head Games. It was released on Microsoft Windows on November 1, 1999. The game received poor reviews, but is considered decent due to all the other Extreme Sports games being much more abysmal. Extreme Paintbrawl is an example of the much more worse Extreme games. The game sold poorly and is now rare and hard to find online. The objective of the game is to climb various different rock walls.

Gameplay
In Extreme Rock Climbing, you choose from one of many different game modes. After that, you can choose from one of many different characters to play as. One you do that, you choose a map, all in which a bigger in height, then you get to the game. First you use your arrow keys and grab onto once of the rocks on the wall by clicking it. Generally, you spend the entire level clicking on different rocks on a wall. Once you do so, a bar comes up with a green bar bouncing up and down. Click exactly when the green bar gets to the top, then you continue to climb successfully. You can also use power-ups, such as "Power Bars" which increase your health. As you climb, your health goes down slowly and if you leave it too long you will have a heart attack then fall of the rock. Basically, you are required to have Power Bars, because without them you would not be able to succeed. The reason for the Power Bars is because the game is sponsored by the company who creates Power Bars (as seen on the front cover of the game.) Once you make it to the top of the wall, the game rewards you with a congratulations screen and simply returns you to the title menu.
Criticism
Extreme Rock Climbing was still considered bad, but then said to be an improvement in the Extreme series. IGN gave the game a 4.5/10, which is much higher than most of the other Extreme games. For example, IGN gave Extreme Paintbrawl a 0.7/10, which is a very bad score. Allgame.com also reviewed the game, and gave it a poor score of 2 and a half out of 5. The game was praised by many reviewers for its impressive visuals, but other than that it is said to be a poor game.
