Born in Seattle, he is best known for his role as Jason McCord on the CBS Broadcasting, Inc. political drama television series Madam Secretary. When he was very young his family moved to San Diego, California, where he acted in school productions and then in musical theater before starting work in television at age 12. He lives in New York City.
