Early life and education

Because Eva's father, Andrew Nagorski, worked as a foreign correspondent for Newsweek, she has had an international upbringing, living in Hong Kong, Moscow, Rome, Bonn and Warsaw, and has travelled extensively. She graduated from Bowdoin College.

Career

Her produced writing credits include NBC's "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” "Las Vegas" and "Deadine." She is the author of "The Down and Dirty Dish on Revenge" (St. Martin's Press).

Her writing and producing credits include the award-winning short film, "solidarity.", with Academy Award nominated director, Joan Stein, which was screened in festivals worldwide, including the New York Film Festival (Eva adapted it into a feature film script for the Polish Film Fund).

Other writing/producing credits include the documentary "Battling Ed: A Teenager’s Guide to Eating Disorders, " with host Jamie-Lynn Sigler; the short film, "Snapshot" (a Civilian Studios Production); and a short documentary about the Polish Daily News, Nowy Dziennik.

She works with the award-winning Nectar Studios as Head of Content. Clients include The Florida Lottery, Florida Prepaid, ABLE United, JEA, Enterprise Florida, Zaxby's, Southeastern Grocers, Bedsider, Skeeter Nut Free and JOAN Creative. She has worked with interactive advertising agencies, such as OgilvyEntertainment (where she was Senior Writer, clients include Philips (she was Creative Director on the Norelco #MakeYouHappen campaign which won a Silver One Show pencil), Dupont, Hellman's, Castle Lite, and more), Ogilvy & Mather (clients included Weight Watchers, British Airways, Dupont), Williams Whittle, and Deep Focus (clients included HBO, Court TV, Picturehouse). One of the projects she did for DF was “That Girl Emily,” Court TV's award-winning marketing campaign for the show, "Parco P.I." She was the voice of “Emily” and her blog received over two million hits in the first two weeks.

Eva has freelanced for American and Polish publications such as A4 Magazine, Picture Magazine, Warsaw Voice, Nowy Dziennik, New Horizons, was senior editor of Notorious magazine, and the editor/features writer of musician Nile Rodgers’ We Are Family Foundation’s (WAFF) website.[www.wearefamilyfoundation.org] he has also worked with WAFF as a producer of their Three Dot Dash “Just Peace” global teen leader initiative, which involved working with various organizations as coalition partners, identifying teen leaders around the world and facilitating opportunities for these teens who otherwise would not have them. She was also an audience curator for the 2013 & 2014 WAFF TEDxTeen series.

She co-wrote the screenplay "No-Smoking Section" with Polish playwright, Janusz Glowacki. She has translated Glowacki's screenplays, such as "Antigone in New York," "Billboard" and "The Fourth Sister," including the theatrical version (Samuel French). Her one-act play, "The Coat Rack," was published in Polish (translator: Glowacki) in the United States and Poland.

She served as the special coordinator for the promotion, outreach and screenings of the Smithsonian Channel's polio documentary, “A Shot To Save The World,” with the Center For Disease Control, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Steeltown Entertainment Project, UNICEF, Rotary International and

Other work experience includes: Williamstown Theatre Festival, Reader's Digest U.S. Video & TV, and Golden Books, which published two of her children's books, "Poky’s Bathtime Adventure" and "Face Painting".

In addition, she was the Screenplay Competition Director of the Nantucket Film Festival for twelve years. Previously, in Poland, she was also co-director of a nationwide screenplay competition, ‘Nowy Scenario.’
