The European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS: Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes) is a professional organization of doctors other than general practitioners in the European Union, which was founded in 1958. This union represent about 1.4 million specialists.

The national medical associations of the countries in the European Union and European Economic Area are full members of the European Union of Medical Specialists, and provide delegates to the governing council. Fifty medical disciplines are represented, of which the most important are covered by 39 specialist sections for areas such as Allergology, Anaesthesiology, Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and many more. The European Union of Medical Specialists represents medical specialists to the EU authorities. It promotes high levels of medical training, practice and health care. The European Union of Medical Specialists is responsible for accreditation of Continuing Medical Education through the EACCME.
