EuroHockey Junior Nations Championships 2008

The 2008 EuroHockey Junior Nations Championships for men is the top tier of the EuroHockey Junior Nations events. It was held in San Sebastian, Spain from July 20 to July 206, 2008. Spain defeated the Netherlands in the final to take the title. Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, England and Poland qualified from this event to the WorldHockey Junior World Cup to be held in Malaysia and Singapore in 2009.

    Fifth to eighth place play-off

    The teams who finished third and fourth in respective pool is carry to this pool. They have to play two matches in this pool with the opponent they do not meet before in own pool whilst carrying the result of their match against the opponent played. The team finished top of this pool classified as fifth place and so on. The teams finishing in 1st and 2nd in this group will qualify for the Junior World Cup 2010. The teams finishing 3rd and 4th in this group will be relegated to the Trophy for the 2010 tournament.
