Euphaedra ceres, the Ceres forester, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Gambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon and the Republic of the Congo. The habitat consists of dry and wet forests, degraded habitats and suburban gardens.

Adults are attracted to fallen fruit.

The larvae feed on Deinbollia pinnata.
