Eupalaestrus campestratus a k a pink zebra beauty
Eupalaestrus campestratus, known as the pink zebra beauty, is a terrestrial tarantula native to Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina. It is brownish-black and has yellow striped markings near its "knees", resembling the Chaco golden knee (Grammostola pulchripes), although its maximum leg-span of six inches makes it significantly smaller.

It is known for its docile and tolerant temperament and is therefore an attractive pet tarantula. It is slow moving and generally considered hardy in captivity. Its docile nature makes it an ideal pet tarantula for a beginner if you are looking to get involved with one. Not quick to bite or "urticating hair", these species are among the top recommended tarantulas for beginner hobbyist.
