Early life and education

Eunique was born in Washington, DC and grew up in Maryland. She majored in communications at the Bowie State University. After graduation, Eunique accepted a position in online advertising with Microsoft in New York City.
Career

In February 2012, Eunique created the photo awareness campaign "I AM Trayvon Martin" after the death of Trayvon Martin. The campaign was aimed to highlight the need for change.

In 2013, Eunique launched the Because of Them, We Can™ campaign in the Black History Month. The campaign used photos of children replicating African American icons. The campaign went viral and Eunique had to leave her job to focus on the campaign movement. Due to her work, she received a post to the Arts Advisory Board under the White House Initiative On Educational Excellence for African Americans.

In 2014, Eunique was honored as a White House Champion of Change for her work with the Because of Them, We Can™ campaign. She was also named a Webby Award honoree. In September 2014, Eunique introduced a new project "Por Ellos, Sí Podemos" with the start of National Hispanic Heritage Month.

In January 2015, she was recognized with a 40 Under 40 Award from the Prince George's County Social Innovation Fund.
