He is a controversial pastor of the Azusa Christian Community Center in Dorchester of Boston, and co-founder of the Boston TenPoint Coalition and co-chair of the National TenPoint Leadership Foundation, both working on issues of urban violence that impacts African Americans. He has appeared on national television shows, including Hardball with Chris Matthews with Michael Rogers defending Rick Warren. He also an advisor to Bishop Charles Blake for Save Africa's Children.
