Early life
She was born in Medak district SC (Mala) community.
Career
She was elected a councillor of the Secunderabad Municipal Corporation in 1950. In 1962 elections she lost on RPI ticket from Yella Reddy Assembly constituency, but won in the 1967 polls and on STPS ticket in 1972 elections.
She was the secretary of Indian Conference of Social Welfare (ICSW) and member of the Indian Red Cross Society. She also fought for separate statehood for Telangana.
There are institutions like J. Eshwari Bai Memorial Trust and J. Eshwari Bai School of Nursing.
Personal life
She was married and her daughter J. Geeta Reddy is a politician.
