Ernesto Ugeziwe (born 23 July 1990) is a Rwandan radio and television personality, known for his music and entertainment shows mainly on Rwanda Television. (RTV)

Early years
He was born on 23 July 1990 in Nyarugenge, Kigali City, Rwanda, the seventh and only boy among seven children by a Christian family. He grew up in Karongi district, Western province with his family after the 1994 Tutsi Genocide. He completed his secondary studies at ETO Gitarama and the university studies at Kigali Independent University with a degree in science and technology. As a child his dream was to become an actor.
Media career
Before gaining popularity as a journalist, Ugeziwe earned a living by preparing commercials for major companies. These commercials run on major radio and TV stations. He also played in a boys' scout band.
In 2011, he worked with Radio Isangano one of the community radios in western province where he did entertainment shows while also finishing his university studies.
In 2012 he left Isangano for Radio Flash FM one of the most popular commercial radio stations in the country. At Flash FM he presented shows on entertainment and showbiz.
Ugeziwe, later in 2013 joined Magi FM, a radio station meant to entertain the youth. He was recruited at Magic FM as an entertainment presenter and programme producer.
After enjoying great success at Magi FM, he tried his hands on television. His TV shows; RTV Mag and YoHits are one of his most popular TV shows to date. Owned by Rwanda Broadcasting Agency.
During these shows, he hosted international artists like Diamond Platinumz, Davido, Jose Chameleone and local musicians like King James, Alpha Rwirangira, Mani Martin and Riderman
Awards
Ugeziwe's TV show, RTV Mag, was awarded by Rwanda Broadcasting Agency as the best TV show of the year 2014/2015.
Personal life and relationships
His personal life has been a subject of media attention. Although a perfectionist in the studio, in social settings he is known as a simple, unpretentious and friendly person who is well liked within the industry and in the media. He doesn't drink or smoke and enjoys watching reality TV shows during his free time. Although Ernesto has not spoken of having a girlfriend, there are reports of a secret relationship with Rwanda's Miss Heritage 2015, Keza Joanna.
Other activities
In 2013 he also worked as the Media and communication chief of East African Promoters, an event company that organises major concerts involving international artists like Sean Kingston, Jason Derulo, Diamond Platnumz, Bennie Man, Konshens and many more. It’s also the same company that organizes Primus Guma Guma Super Star (PGGSS), an annual talent competition.
End 2015 Ernesto Ugeziwe was working on a promotional show of Tigo Rwanda, a major telecom company that gives away Rwf 1,000,000 daily. The show aired on RTV every evening at 7;00 pm.Currently he moved to the United States to continue his master's degree in media and communication.
