Eric Tinkler (born 30 July 1970 in Roodepoort, Gauteng) is a South African football coach and former player, who is currently head coach of Supersport United. He played for Wits in South Africa, Vitória de Setúbal and União de Tomar in Portugal, Cagliari in Italy and Barnsley in England where he appeared in the Premier League. He was part of the South Africa squad that won the 1996 African Cup of Nations.
