Eric Syddique

Eric Mahmood Syddique is a former chief executive of the Electoral Reform Society, and a former Liberal Democrat councillor on Sevenoaks District Council in Kent. He is secretary of the Electoral Reform Society's Electoral Reform International Services company, which provides assistance in conducting elections worldwide, and has written extensively for Voting matters and Representation.

Syddique is a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House, and vice chairman of the UK's H S Chapman Society. He wrote the entry for Enid Lakeman in the 2004 Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
