In January 2014 half of the registration rights of Lanini, was exchanged with half of the registration rights of Edoardo Goldaniga of Palermo. Lanini remained in Tuscany for the rest of 2013–14 Lega Pro Prima Divisione season. In June 2014 the co-ownerships were renewed.  The next season, he played on loan for Virtus Entella. He scored three goals out of eighteen Serie B games. On 25 June 2015 Juventus bought back Lanini, as well as Palermo bought back Goldaniga. Lanini signed a 3-year contract with Juventus.  On 21 July 2015 Lanini was signed by Serie B club Lanciano. On 28 January 2016 he joined Como.  On 21 July 2016 Lanini moved to Belgium for K.V.C. Westerlo.
