Eric Baier (born March 26, 1988) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman. He is currently playing for the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL. He was a team-mate of older brother, Paul Baier in his final year of professional hockey with the Solar Bears.

Playing career

On March 6, 2011, the Reading Royals of the ECHL signed Baier to an to amateur tryout agreement. During the 2012–13 season, whilst playing 56 games in the ECHL with the Trenton Titans, Baier was also loaned on three occasions to three separate team in the American Hockey League. He scored he first AHL goal whilst with the Charlotte Checkers.

On July 29, 2013, he was signed to a one-year deal, alongside his brother Paul, as a free agent with the Orlando Solar Bears.

During the 2014–15 season, on November 23, 2014, he was signed to a PTO agreement with the Albany Devils who were down to five defenseman due to injuries. He scored his first goal with the Devils in a 5–2 win against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

On June 16, 2015, Baier continued his affiliation with the Solar Bears and signed for his third season with the club.
