The local assembly of bishops is the Episcopal Conference of Guinea (French: Conférence Episcopal de la Guinée, CEG). The ECG is a member of the Regional Episcopal Conference of Francophone West Africa and Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa and Madagascar (SECAM).
