The technology can successfully remove virtually all contaminants like TSS, TDS, BOD5, NH3-N, TKN, fatty acids, heavy metals, arsenic and COD. The distillate from this process mostly has a neutral pH. Also another potential area of utilization is energy efficient evaporative desalination.
This product range is fairly new in the market.
The technology used has a number of patents and could revolutionize the handling of effluent water for small industrial units struggling to meet effluent standards economically.
The payback time for implemented solutions has been around 6–18 months. The very low energy consumption of this process gives it an edge across life cycle costs of similar solutions.
