Emre Faner (born March 24, 1994 in Erzurum, Turkey) is a Turkish ice hockeyplayer. Currently, he plays in the Turkish Ice Hockey Super League for Izmir Buyuksehir Belediyesi SK and is a member of the Turkey men's national ice hockey team. The 1.76 m (5 ft 9 12 in) tall defenseman at 75 kg (165 lb) shoots right-handed.

Club

Emre Faner started ice hockey performing end of 2009 because he found it more enjoyable than football playing he did previously. He joined the local team Erzurum Genclik SK. After playing two seasons with Erzurum Genclik SK from 2012 to 2014, he was transferred by Izmir Buyuksehir Belediyesi SK.

International

Faner was admitted to the Turkey men's national U-20 ice hockey team and played at the 2013 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships – Division III matches in Sofia, Bulgaria, and at the 2014 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships – Division III matches in Izmir, Turkey.

Faner joined the Turkey men's national ice hockey team, and debuted at the 2013 IIHF World Championship Division II B Tournament matches in Izmit, Turkey. He participates at the 2014 IIHF World Championship Division II Group B Tournament in Jaca, Spain.
