Concert synopsis

The show begins with an introduction of "Fairly Local" before the band takes the stage in ski masks and red suits and go straight into "Heavydirtysoul". Throughout the show, large LED screens show hi-def animations unique to each song. Joseph and Dun perform fan favorite "Migraine", followed by "Hometown", during which Joseph is placed under a sheet, vanishes, and reappears in the crowd to finish the song and take his ski mask off. A performance of "Lane Boy" is accompanied by the word "success" flashing on the screen behind the pair, who quickly depart the main stage after the song to change into skeleton sweatshirts and run to a satellite stage with an LED floor in the middle of the general admission area. The duo sings a medley of older songs, including "Ode to Sleep", "Johnny Boy", "March to the Sea", "Fall Away", "The Pantaloon", "Forest" and "Kitchen Sink"; Joseph sits cross-legged on the floor staring down at his feet as he sings lines from "Addict with a Pen".

Joseph and Dun return to the main stage and Joseph enters the crowd to sing the opening verse of "Holding On to You", while Dun backflips off of the piano during the bridge. Joseph invites out openers Mutemath and Chef'Special for a series of covers. The now-nine piece band hit "Twist and Shout", then a quick bit of Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself", and a hyped snippet of House of Pain's "Jump Around". After performing the covers, the duo performs their biggest radio hits, "Ride" where, during the last chorus, Josh will play drums atop the crowd, and "Stressed Out". Joseph crawls into a red, blow-up hamster ball for "Guns for Hands". They then play "Tear in My Heart" before Joseph ends the show by going into the middle of the crowd and climbing a ladder during a performance of "Car Radio".

For the encore, the duo first performs "Goner". Joseph will usually thank the audience for coming to the show and give a brief speech about it. The final song, "Trees", ends with the pair bashing drums while riding atop the crowd. Joseph and Dun bow and thank the audience with the sign-off "We are Twenty One Pilots, and so are you".
