Emory W. Hines (January 7, 1913 – March 5, 1989) was an American football and baseball coach. HE served as the third head football coach at the Louisiana Negro Normal and Industrial Institute—now known as Grambling State University—in Grambling, Louisiana and he held that position for six seasons, from 1935 until 1940. His coaching record at Grambling was 4–11–2. Hines was also the head baseball coach at Southern University from m 1961 to 1976.

Hines died of a long illness in 1989.
