Ferrer is the daughter of Sean Hepburn Ferrer and Leila Flannigan, and the granddaughter of actors Audrey Hepburn and Mel Ferrer. She has two younger half-siblings, Gregorio and Santiago Ferrer.
The August 2014 Harper's Bazaar spread was photographed by Michael Avedon (grandson of Richard, who photographed Hepburn).
On 23 October 2014 Ferrer received the InTouch Award in the category "Shooting Model International" from InTouch magazine in Düsseldorf.
