Music Career
Plazek has worked in the past with artists such as Kellee Maize in assisting in recording, producing, songwriting, and vocal coaching.
In addition to producing and songwriting for other artists, Plazek has released four EPs of her own, part of a series titled The Four Seasons Series. In 2016, Plazek released a collection album titled The Best of the 4 Seasons Series.
Business Ventures
Plazek formally founded MIC PGH (pronounced MIKE-PITTSBURGH) as a startup company with a goal to aid local musicians in creating lasting careers out of their work through research projects (featuring Plazek’s own work). MIC PGH’s main product is the result of this research, the Indie Music Business Model (often abbreviated to IMBM). Plazek uses the IMBM to help these local musicians through individual consulting sessions.
Plazek has also sponsored Pittsburgh citywide events under the MIC PGH banner such as Creatives Drink, a local event specifically for creatives of all types to network and share ideas.
