Elon University School of Law is an American law school located in Greensboro, North Carolina, occupying the former downtown public library building. The school spent $10 million renovating the 84,000 sq ft (7,800 m2). facility. The School of Law is one of four graduate programs offered by Elon University. Established in 2006, the School features concentrations in Business, Litigation, Public interest, and General practice.

In the fall of 2006, 115 students were enrolled to form the law school's inaugural class and in 2007 a second class of 107 students were enrolled. In the fall of 2008, another 107 students were enrolled, placing the law school at full capacity. The school's largest incoming class enrolled in 2010 with 132 members.
Leary Davis is the founding dean emeritus and a professor of law. David Gergen serves as the Chair of the Advisory Board. George R. Johnson, Jr. was named the second dean of Elon University School of Law on February 5, 2009. The School named Luke Bierman as its third dean on January 14, 2014, an office which he assumed on June 1, 2014.
The school collaborates with the neighboring American Judicature Society Institute of Forensic Science & Public Policy, researching issues at the intersection of law and science. In addition, Elon Law offers a preceptor program for 1L's and provides leadership education during the winter-term semester.
The graduating class of 2009 achieved an 83% bar passage rate. According to Elon's 2013 ABA-required disclosures, 32% of the Class of 2013 obtained full-time, long-term, JD-required employment nine months after graduation. The class of 2013 has a median LSAT score of 155 and undergraduate GPA of 3.12. The class of 2016 has a median LSAT score of 150 and undergraduate GPA of 3.01.

North Carolina Business Court
The Elon University School of Law houses a working court — the North Carolina Business Court. The court hears cases involving complex commercial and corporate law disputes in the law school's Robert E. Long Courtroom. The courtroom includes three large flat screen monitors to display motions, briefs and other documents, wireless technology and videoconferencing capabilities. All Business Court cases are assigned by the Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court. Judge James Gale presides over cases heard in Greensboro, and the court also has judges and holds hearings in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Charlotte, North Carolina.
Clinical Law Center
In fall 2009, The Elon University School of Law opened a Clinical Law Center to support legal services provided by law school students. The center provides a facility for students, under the supervision of law faculty and attorneys, to work with clients referred by nonprofit organizations and government agencies in the greater-Greensboro region.
The Center houses the law school's Wills Clinic, Elder Law Clinic, and the Humanitarian Immigration Law Clinic. The Wills Clinic provides wills drafting services to low-income clients referred by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro. The Elder Law Clinic services the greater Greensboro community, and the Humanitarian Immigration Clinic provides assistance to refugee and asylum cases.

Elon Law Leadership Fellows Program
The Elon Law Leadership Fellows program was developed in 2009. The program is geared toward students who demonstrate exceptional leadership in all aspects of life, in addition to academic excellence. A candidate for the Fellows program must complete a separate application. Leadership Fellows will be offered a summer externship that allows them the opportunity to serve within the public sector while also earning course credit through the University. Fellows are required to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA, assist administration and faculty with leadership programming such as the Leadership Lecture Series, and complete a Capstone project during their third year of study.
Elon Law Business Fellows Program
A Business Fellows Scholarship goes toward tuition during the academic year, renewable for three years assuming continued participation in the Business Fellows Program. A summer externship includes placement in a corporate or business setting, such as in-house legal departments. Students have opportunities to meet professionals within the fields of business and business law at the regional and national levels.
Elon Law School and Martha and Spencer Love Business School Create JD/MBA Program
This program gives students the opportunity to pursue a Doctorate legal degree as well as a Masters in Business Administration. In 2013, Elon Law’s Leadership Program was recognized with the American Bar Association’s E. Smythe Gambrell Award, the leading national award recognizing excellence in legal professionalism programming. The JD/MBA program builds on existing partnerships between Elon’s law and business schools. Students take courses at both the law school’s downtown Greensboro campus and at the Ernest A. Koury Sr. Business Center located on Elon University's main campus in Elon, N.C. Those in the program have the option to complete their law degree in three years, by taking some MBA courses during summers and winters, followed by a year of study at the Love School of Business to complete the MBA degree. They can also complete the JD and MBA programs in four years through an integrated approach in which both degrees are completed after the fourth year of study.
