History
The school is very proud of all those that study and work within it. Ellis Guilford School is the hub of the community, providing not only a quality education for its pupils but a wide range of after-hours activities and a chance for parents/carers and other members of the community to acquire new skills. The school believes that everyone can achieve and work hard to provide every student with the education and guidance and support that is right for them, providing a truly personalised and inclusive education. A new sports hall has been added. It has a variety of sports fields for football, basketball and alike. They also offer numerous after-school activities such as computer clubs, football clubs and many more.
Academic performance
It has won an award for the best school for healthy living in Nottingham. The school holds specialist Sports College status. The school is very proud of its achievements. The broad and balanced and inclusive curriculum provides all of their learners with the opportunities to experience a curriculum that really does meet their needs.
Over the last three years, the school has achieved an excellent set of results which have shown the school to be amongst the top five percent of similar schools in the country for adding value to children's education. The school is very proud of this achievement.
