Elisabeth Schellekens is an academic philosopher specialising in the philosophy of aesthetics and ethics. She is Senior Lecturer at Durham University and is co-editor of the British Journal of Aesthetics and on the editorial board of the Journal of Aesthetics and Art Criticism.

She is married to the musicologist and critic Guy Dammann.
