He released his first Mixtape under the name SoSiK on November 8, 2013, as an Independent.

Elijah Yates began making Hip Hop Music-infused R&B under the stage name SoSiK . Elijah Yates Released his first Mixtape on his Website Which initially got the attention of major and independent labels. His second project Born Again was released December 12, 2014 The video for The Way It Should Go was the lead track for the project On July 15, 2015 OutLawStar was released and an extend play version to digital store outlets on July 24, 2015
