Early life
Elijah was born in Detroit, Michigan.
Career
Elijah began his career as an internet personality telling jokes on his Twitter account.
His appearances include a speakeasy style commercial with Taco Bell for the launch of their Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos. Elijah also appeared in a music video with South Korean hip hop-R&B boy group B.A.P for their Badman (EP).
As a prank, In 2013 Elijah created an official White House petition to make Miley Cyrus's Party In The USA the National Anthem of the USA.
Starting in 2014 Elijah began hosting a weekly internet prank with CollegeHumor called Text Prank Thursday, where he would have his Twitter followers text random phone numbers saying whatever he told them to say.
In 2016 Elijah tweeted that he was going to get drunk, write and self-publish an erotic novel starring the president, Donald Trump, in one day. Within a few hours, Daniel had released the novella titled Trump Temptations: The Billionaire & The Bellboy on Amazon. The book was an instant viral hit and quickly topped the charts, becoming a best seller. The book received massive press, and was featured on New York Daily News, Los Angeles Times, VICE, and countless others.
In an interview with Paper Magazine, Elijah said that based off the press of his books, he was able to sell two television shows. One docu-series titled 'Elijah Daniel is Insane', and one scripted comedy titled 'Social' co-starring Vine comedian Christine Sydelko.
Elijah will appear in the next season of MTV's Greatest Party Story Ever.
To celebrate the success of Trump Temptations, on May 21st, 2016, Elijah livestreamed himself getting a tattoo of Donald Trump performing oral sex on a man.
In July 2016, Elijah hosted Givit Wednesday, a livestreamed telethon co-hosted by Marlon Wayans and Alison Eastwood to benefit the Eastwood Ranch Foundation. The show featured a lineup of internet personalities and celebrities playing games and challenges for charity. At the end of the episode, Elijah let Marlon tattoo his thigh live on camera.
Elijah and his fiancée Christine Sydelko plan to get married if they reach 1,000,000 subscribers by June 2017. Currently they have over 300,000 subscribers on their youtube channel Elijah & Christine.
Legal troubles
In 2016 Elijah was detained and questioned by the Secret Service after tweeting a photo of the Donald Trump rally in Sparks, Nevada and tweeting crypt messages. Elijah tweeted and updated his fans to let them know he was fine and just being questioned. It was announced that Elijah will tell the story in full on MTV's Greatest Party Story Ever.
